Positions Available
Description
We are seeking a part-time or contract-based graphic designer with web experience; potential for full-time employment for the right candidate in approximately 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Creating compelling, web-friendly visual designs for new and existing web sites
- Building and maintaining XHTML / CSS web site code
- Logo design
- Image optimization
- Some content / SEO optimization
Skill Set
- Creative design skills
- Strong W3C compliant XHTML / CSS coding skills
- Experience with web-based design
- Understanding of veterinary clients and veterinary web sites (training will be provided)
- Critical thinking and innovative
- Independent
- Love of animals a bonus!
Hours, Pay and Expectations
Part-Time hourly contract initially. Candidates may work remotely, or in our office, but will be expected to come in regularly for meetings. The successful candidate will use their own equipment (e.g. laptop) initially, have a car and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities
- Establishing relationships with veterinary clinics through calls, emails and onsite visits
- Networking
- Planning and executing marketing strategies
- Arranging speaking engagements
- Promoting the Bionex brand
- Tracking leads and reporting activity on a regular basis
Skill Set
- Experienced in the full sales cycle – sales lead generation to sales close
- Understanding of veterinary clients and veterinary web sites (training will be provided)
- Outgoing, trustworthy, customer-focused personality to be able to build immediate rapport with clients to build long-term relationships
- Budget-consciousness

Hours, Pay and Expectations
Part-Time full commission basis initially. Business model easily supports up to $2,000 per month. Candidates may work remotely, or in our office, but will be expected to come in regularly for meetings. The successful candidate will use their own equipment (e.g. laptop) initially, have a car and a safe driving record.
Our office is located near the intersection of Highway 5 (Dundas St.) and Highway 6, in Flamborough, ON.
